We have had to change the location of the Thursday evening reception. Same time — 7 PM on October 15 — but different venue.

The reception will not, as previously announced, be held at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum, but will instead be held at the hotel (aka, Dixie Cup Central). So, if you book a room at the hotel for Thursday night you need not worry about driving afterwards. But don’t over-indulge at the reception because we’ll have lots of beers to judge Friday afternoon, and we’ll need your help to judge them.

The Foam Rangers are pleased to announce the speakers for Dixie Cup XXVI: Garrett Oliver of The Brooklyn Brewery, and Scott Metzger of Freetail Brewing Company.

Information about Dixie Cup XXVI, to be held October 16-17, 2009 in Houston, Texas, has been posted on the Dixie Cup website. Not all the deails have been finialized yet, but information about this year's speakers, the Thursday night reception, etc. will be posted as it becomes available.

The special Dixie Cup style this year is Frankenbier, so go check out the guidelines and get brewing.

Registration forms and online registration will be available later this summer. The early entry deadline this year is Friday, September 18. No entries will be accepted after Friday, September 25. First-round judging begins on Sunday, September 27.
