Registration Form
Fill out a registration form
and include it, along with your check, payable to
The Foam Rangers, with your entries.
Recipe Form
If you do not wish, or are unable, to
register online, you must fill out one
recipe form
for each entry and include them with your registration form.
Please fill out the recipe form as completely as possible. Not only will this help ensure that your entry is placed in the correct category, and that the judges have the necessary information to accurately judge your entry, it will also enable us to give others a detailed listing of your award-winning entry.
You must fill in the Pertinent Style Information section for the following styles: Belgian Specialty Ale (16E), Fruit Lambic (17F), Fruit Beer (20), Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer (21A), Specialty Beer (23), Other Fruit Melomel (25C), Metheglin (26A), Open Category Mead (26C), New England Cider (28A), Fruit Cider (28B), Other Specialty Cider/Perry (28D), Strange Brew (29), rye beers entered in American Wheat or Rye Beer (6D), and First-Time Entrant (30). This section is optional for all other categories.
Use of the “official” recipe form is preferred, but not required. If you use an alternate form, be sure that it contains similar information. In particular, make sure that the correct category code is included. The volunteers checking in your entries do not have time to read your recipe to try to figure out which category your beer belongs in. Even if they did, they might guess wrong.
Bottle Labels
Attach one bottle label
to each bottle with a rubber band — no tape or glue.
Indicate the BJCP category and sub-category on the bottle label and include
the beer name, especially if you have two entries in the same category.
